AGE OF LEARNERS: 5-6
NEW LANGUAGE: sunny,windy,snowy,rainy
A: How’s the weather today?
B: It is sunny.
A:Is it cold today?
B: No, it is hot today
MATERIALS: weather flashcards, weather chart,song, a cardboard tv, yellow cardboard,plastic plate
Warm up: Teacher greet the class first:
-Hello children. How are you today? (answer their questions)
-Who is absent today?
-What’s the date today? (or such questions.)
-While I was coming school today,it was rainy. So I took my umbrella with me. Now, let’s look through the window with you. How’s the weather today? (if they answer in their mother tongue, teacher say their answers in target language.
T says: Do you want to listen to a song about weather?

T asks: Which weather conditions we listened in the song? (Don’t forget to repeat their answers in target language)

By using weather chart every student present the weather forecast;
-hello everyone. I will present the weather. Today it is sunny. It is hot.
-Hello. I will tell you the weather. It is windy, today. etc.

Build a snowman. You can download it by clicking below;
They can make a sentence about the snowman’s body. Or they can tell about the weather.
